Who sends you money, grouped
The same person arrives spelled differently depending on the app: «MARIA ELENA QUISPE» via Plin and «Maria E. Q.» via Yape. You create the contact once, link their names, and everything they send adds up together from then on.
How much, when and from whom
Day total, trend by hour and by day, who sends you the most, what time it usually lands and where it comes from. You can compare up to four people side by side.

Alert if it stops recording
If Android revokes the permission or your phone shuts the app down in the background, Yalape says so on the home screen. Finding out late is the worst outcome.

Optional and off by default: enter your server’s address and everything the app records goes there, signed and with a log of what was sent.
Backup
Automatic or manual backups into the folder you choose, as a signed ZIP file. Restores on another phone with the same account.
What you receive never leaves your phone
Yalape reads the notifications Android already showed you and stores them on your device. No server of ours ever receives them. We don’t sell data. We don’t train models.
If you create an account, the only thing we keep in the cloud is your subscription status. Not one amount, not one contact, not one notification.

Amounts, contacts and notifications are stored inside your phone. There is no server of ours processing them.
Biometric lock

Why does it need notification access? +
It’s the only thing the app does. Yalape uses Android’s notification access permission to read the alerts your payment apps show and record what you receive. Without it there is nothing to show. It only reads the payment apps you turn on — no messaging, no email, no social media.
Which payment apps does it recognise? +
Yape and the apps from BCP, Interbank, BBVA, Scotiabank and Banco de la Nación, which is also where Plin transfers land. Each one is toggled separately. Recognition is still provisional: something can be missed, so checking your bank app remains your final call.
Does what I receive leave my phone? +
No. Amounts, contacts and the notification text are stored inside the app, on your phone. We have no server that receives them. If you create an account, the only thing we keep in the cloud is your subscription status.
What is forwarding to my own server? +
An option for anyone who wants to wire Yalape into their own system: you enter your server’s address and, from then on, everything the app records is sent there. It ships off, with no factory destination — nothing leaves until you set it up. The app keeps a log of everything that went out, and one switch stops it.
Does it work when the app is closed? +
Yes, though Android may restrict background execution to save battery. The app walks you through excluding it from battery saver during setup. On Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO you also need to enable «Autostart», and the app shows you where.
Does it recover what I received before I installed it? +
No. Yalape records from the moment you grant the permission: the notification is the only thing there is to read, and the earlier ones are gone. Day one shows an empty screen, and that is correct.
How much does it cost? +
Every feature is in the free plan, with no exceptions: full history, contacts, stats, backup and server forwarding. The free plan shows ads. Premium does one thing: remove them. Creating an account gives you a 7-day trial.
How do I back up my data? +
From Menu → Backup you can run manual backups or schedule them, into the folder you choose. The file is a ZIP signed with HMAC-SHA256 containing everything recorded, the names that arrive in the notifications and your contacts, and it restores on another phone when you sign in with the same account. The notification text is not included.
How do I cancel my subscription? +
From your Google Play account. Cancelling is immediate and you stay ad-free until the end of the period you already paid for.
